Catalina Island Tour + Snorkel
We will pick you up from your Bavaro, Punta Cana hotel and drive you to the La Romana port where we will board a boat, a speedboat, or a catamaran to travel to Catalina Island.
We set sail for about 30 minutes to the first reef of Catalina Island after boarding in the lovely port of La Romana, which is located on the waters of the picturesque Rio Salao. This area is known as El Muro, and it is a wall vertical natural that descends in two stages to a depth of more than 60 meters, making it perfect for scuba diving.
The snorkel is made in the shallow region of the reef, where, at a depth of under two meters, we can view a vast array of vibrant fish and innumerable corals. In another area of the island, this time in front of the beach, where we will discover a coral barrier around the entire island, we will have the chance to go snorkeling once more.
We’ll then refuel with a traditional lunch by the sea of rice, meats, salad, pasta, and a soft drink about midday.
We’ll take a boat back to the La Romana port in the late afternoon. We’ll take a bus back to your hotel from there.
