Parque Nacional De Los Haitises
We will take you up from your Bavaro, Punta Cana hotel and drive you to Los Haitises National Park, a remarkable karst terrain soaked in Samaná Bay.
We’ll board a boat to travel through the Cao Hondo River when we reach there. Be careful with the water! Up until we get at San Lorenzo Bay, scarlet mangrove tangles rise along the shore. We will see rocky outcrops in the open sea that are home to earwigs and pelicans.
The Tano indigenous people once used the Arena and Linea caves, which are where the expedition will next stop. These caverns have petroglyphs and local pictograms inside, which we can see.
At the Hotel Paraso Cao Hondo, where the hotel’s lovely natural pools are located, we will then depart. Before taking a leisurely meal in this gorgeous setting, you can cool yourself in the pools of the Jivales River.
You will enjoy the opportunity to walk or ride a horse through one of the best beaches in the province’s northernmost region, a beach with transparent turquoise waters. We will also take advantage of freshly cut coconuts, which will allow us to enjoy the luxury of taking a dip in a truly paradisiacal beach.
We’ll finally head back to Punta Cana from the mainland.
